Peace has ended and the defences are down. Fighting it makes it worse. The line counsels drawing in, keeping order among your own, and accepting that the cycle has turned. This is a time to hold what is close, not to reclaim what is gone.

What changes when line 6 moves
Line 6 of Hexagram 11 is yin, a broken line. When it is cast as old yin (a 6) it flips, and the hexagram becomes Hexagram 26, Great Taming: Great power held and stored: strength restrained by something firm, gathering for a large task.
