Held back so firmly that movement is impossible, and accepting it gracefully. The wagon cannot go, so one does not try. The line describes restraint accepted without struggle, which preserves strength for later.

What changes when line 2 moves
Line 2 of Hexagram 26 is yang, a solid line. When it is cast as old yang (a 9) it flips, and the hexagram becomes Hexagram 22, Grace: Form and beauty in their proper place: adornment that serves substance, and knows its limits.
