What counts as rare
Not the everyday stuff. Your Sun sign is one of twelve; that is not rare. What moves the needle are the configurations most charts simply do not have.
- Stelliums. Four or more planets crowded into one sign.
- Yods. The rare “finger of fate” triangle.
- Grand cross. Four planets in two oppositions, all squared.
- Unaspected planets. A planet, or a luminary, that runs alone.
- Chart shape. Every planet bundled into a third of the sky.
- Extremes. A New or Full Moon birth, a 29th-degree Sun, all one element.
