No, and of all the questions people bring to a chart, this is the one where a wrong answer costs the most.

No. No astrological method predicts conception, pregnancy or fertility. The techniques offered: the fifth house and its ruler, Jupiter transits, the Saptamsa (D-7) divisional chart in Vedic astrology. Have never been validated against outcomes. Fertility is a medical matter with real, time-sensitive clinical factors, and it's the area where taking astrological timing seriously can cost you the most. AsterNym doesn't calculate it.
The direct answer, and why we are firm about it
Astrology can't tell you when or whether you will have a child. There's no ambiguity in the evidence here, because there's no evidence.
We're firmer about this one than about most because the downside is concrete. Fertility is time-sensitive in a way few things are. Someone who delays investigating a problem because a chart indicated a favourable window later, or who declines to try during a period an astrologer called unfavourable, may lose time that mattered. That isn't a hypothetical harm. It's the specific mechanism by which this particular claim does damage.
Fertility readings are the cruellest product in the trade, and I'd rather lose the sale than offer one.
What gets offered instead
- The fifth house. Traditionally the house of children, creativity and play. Transits to it or its ruler count, for most modern astrologers, as fertile periods. Modern practice much more often reads the fifth for creative work and romance.
- Jupiter transits. Jupiter signals, to astrologers, abundance and takes twelve years to circle a chart, contacting the fifth house on a schedule anyone can compute. That regularity is presented as significance.
- Saptamsa (D-7). The Vedic divisional chart for progeny. Like all divisional charts it multiplies the available symbolism, which makes readings more elaborate, not more accurate.
- Progressed Moon and lunar returns. Slow cycles tied to the Moon, and therefore rhetorically easy to associate with fertility. The association is symbolic, not physiological.
Each generates several candidate windows per decade. As with marriage timing, a wide net looks like accuracy in hindsight and predicts nothing in advance.
The part that is cruel
People search this question at a difficult time. Many have been trying for a while. Some have had losses. A chart reading offered into that isn't neutral entertainment.
A reading that says the window has passed can be devastating and isn't based on anything. A reading that promises a window ahead can produce months of waiting for a date that was invented. Both do harm, and the second is arguably worse because it feels kind.
We would rather this page disappoint you now than a paid reading disappoint you in eighteen months.
What a chart can do
Nothing about fertility. But if what you want is a way to think about a period of your life (what you're building, what you're carrying, what you need) then the reflective use of a chart is available and harmless.
