For fun, though the care notes are real, which is more than I can say for most of my own plant purchases.

First, the answer

Fire signs get plants that grow fast and want light, earth signs slow reliable ones, air signs trailing plants that spread, and water signs ones that need steady moisture. The twelve below extend that. It's entertainment, though the care requirements are accurate, so it doubles as a starter guide.

The care notes are the helpful part

I have killed more houseplants than I'd like to admit, and every one died for the same two reasons, neither of them my birthday: the light in the room, and how often I remembered them.

Buy the plant that suits your light, not your sign, because the care notes are the only part of this list I'd keep.

Astrology and plants historically

There is a real tradition here, though not this one: herbalism assigned plants to planetary rulers, rosemary to the Sun, poppy to the Moon, nettle to Mars, used alongside melothesia.

The one placement that fits
