Ferid Murad (born September 14, 1936, Whiting, United States; died 2023), was an American physician and pharmacologist. Murad's honours include Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research and honorary doctor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
