John W. Campbell (born June 8, 1910, Newark, United States; died 1971), was an American science fiction writer. Campbell served as editor-in-chief. Campbell's honours include Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame, Hugo Award for Best Professional Magazine and Retro Hugo Award for Best Novella.
