William Goldman
William Goldman (born August 12, 1931, Highland Park, United States; died 2018), was an American novelist, screenwriter and playwright. Goldman is best remembered for The Princess Bride. Goldman's honours include Academy Award for Best Writing, Original Screenplay, Academy Award for Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay and Edgar Awards.
