Lucky Mega-Sena numbers
Four lines of six numbers from 60 for the Caixa draw, weighted by the digit roots your chart favours. The largest pool of any six-number game here.
Numbers built from your chart, not a shuffle
Any site can pick random numbers. Weighting the pool by your own Day Master, Life Path and Lo Shu grid needs your birth moment.
What Mega-Sena is
| Game | Numbers drawn | Jackpot odds |
|---|---|---|
| Mega-Sena | 6 of 1–60 | 1 in 50,063,860 |
Six from 60, run by Caixa and drawn three times a week. The largest pool of any six-number game here, and therefore the longest odds of them. There are 50,063,860 ways to choose 6 numbers from 60, and a line covers exactly one of them, which is the whole arithmetic behind the 1 in 50,063,860.
Beneath the jackpot
Take the number of draws that give exactly that match, divide by every draw the format allows, and the row below is what comes out.
| Result | Odds of exactly this |
|---|---|
| Match 6 | 1 in 50,063,860 |
| Match 5 | 1 in 154,518 |
| Match 4 | 1 in 2,332 |
| Match 3 | 1 in 101 |
| Match 2 | 1 in 10.6 |
The odds are fixed by the format. The payout is not, and in most of these games it moves with ticket sales.
If you play somewhere else
The arithmetic travels. Any of these, or every lucky-number calculator.
The draw that cannot roll over
Mega-Sena is six from 60, run by Caixa, and once a year it does something no other game on this site does. The Mega da Virada, drawn on 31 December, is barred from rolling over: if nobody matches six the money goes down to the five-number tier and out. That single rule makes it the one draw in the list where a ticket is close to certain to pay somebody.
Bolões, formal syndicates sold at the counter, are a normal way to play here rather than an office arrangement. Caixa sells them directly, which removes the argument about who was holding the ticket.
Six from 60 is also the widest six-number pool in the Americas. Chile draws from 41 and Argentina from 46, so a Brazilian line is fighting several times the difficulty of a Chilean one for a jackpot the newspapers print in the same font.
Who else is holding your line
Nothing below improves your chance of winning. Every line is as likely as every other line and no arrangement of numbers changes that. What it can change is how many other tickets carry the same line, which decides whether a top prize arrives whole or in pieces.
Of the 60 main numbers in Mega-Sena, 31 could be a day of the month and 29 could not. A slip filled from memory almost always stays under 32, because that is where the calendar stops. Lines built entirely from calendar numbers make up 1.5 per cent of the possible lines, and a far larger share of the tickets people fill in by hand. A line reaching above 31 wins no more often. It is held by fewer people when it does.
These follow from the pool size and nothing else. Treat them as a note on crowding, and treat the reading above as a way to choose rather than a way to predict.
