The cheap daily one
Bonoloto has the same six-from-49 shape as La Primitiva and costs less to enter, which is the whole proposition: a daily draw at a low stake rather than a weekly event. Spain's state operator runs both, so the two games compete with each other on purpose, aimed at different habits.
Identical format means identical odds per line. A cheaper ticket does not improve them. It changes how many lines the same money buys, and how often you find out.
Six from 49 is the most widely copied lottery format there is. Spain runs two of them. Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan all run one. Any page quoting 6/49 odds is quoting a figure that holds for all of them, which is why those numbers circulate so freely and so often get attached to the wrong game.

Read this as a note on other players, not on the draw. Your chance of matching is fixed by the format. Your chance of matching alone is not, and that is the difference between a whole prize and a quarter of one.
Of the 49 main numbers in Bonoloto, 31 could be a day of the month and 18 could not. Dates cannot reach past 31, so every line built from one crowds into the same stretch of the board. Lines built entirely from calendar numbers make up 5.3 per cent of the possible lines, and a far larger share of the tickets people fill in by hand. A line reaching above 31 wins no more often. It is held by fewer people when it does.
These follow from the pool size and nothing else. Treat them as a note on crowding, and treat the reading above as a way to choose rather than a way to predict.
